Our Cookies & Cream Duo Bar has been developed by professional sports nutritionists and is based on the rice cake concept that is used as race food by many top professional cycling teams. Each Duo Bar is pre-cut into two equal pieces with each piece delivering 20g of Carbohydrate - ideal to use before, during or after exercise, or as an alternative healthy snack when you are on the go. Duo Bars provide an alternative source of carbohydrate to energy drinks and gels if you prefer to take solid food on board during exercise. With Duo Bars you know exactly how much carbohydrate fuel you are taking on board with each piece. Each bar contains 40g of carbohydrate (2 x 20g pieces) and 7g of Protein.
Top Tip: It is important to remember that if you are exercising for 60 minutes or more, as well as remaining hydrated it is recommended to supplement 40-90g of carbohydrate per hour of exercise to maintain blood glucose levels. This will help you to maintain, enjoy or improve the quality of your exercise.
