Our bars are best consumed during the first half of a long ride or sportive. Because solid foods require more blood flow for digestion than gels do, eating them early (when your intensity is manageable) provides a steady stream of energy and keeps hunger at bay. 

As the intensity increases toward the end of a ride or during a final climb, you can then transition to energy gels for faster absorption.

Our Duo Bars contain 40g of carbohydrates per pack (conveniently split into two 20g bite-sized portions), while our Anytime Bars provide approximately 35 to 40g, depending on the flavour. This high carbohydrate density makes them an efficient tool to help you reach the professional goal of 60 to 90g of carbs per hour for optimal performance.
