Anytime Bars

The decision of when to eat a protein bar depends on your objective. If you are looking to fuel your upcoming exercise session, dampen hunger, or sustain yourself until your post-workout meal, we advise eating a high-protein bar approximately 1 to 2 hours before your session, giving at least one hour for digestion.

If you are looking to capitalise on the protein content of OTE bars to aid muscle repair, we recommend eating one within the first hour of completing your workout. This is the optimal time for muscle recovery, plus the carb intake will mitigate soreness.

OTE protein bars contain around 200 calories each, with 26g of carbohydrates and 9g of sugar. As for how much protein is in a protein bar, a 55g bar contains 11g. Protein bars can promote feelings of fullness and reduce cravings, making them suitable for weight loss as part of a healthy, balanced diet.
